Welcome to my page! My name is Christy Sumners and I provide mental health therapy for children and adults, with a focus on Person-Centered Therapy, allowing the clients needs to guide the therapeutic relationship.
All About Me
I received a Master of Education in Counseling from Stephens College in Columbia. I am currently a Counselor in Training working under the supervision of Kristi Schlegel, M.Ed., LPC, License #2019011838. I have a passion for growth and development and appreciate opportunities to help individuals advance in these areas throughout their journey in life. This includes those who would like to find ways to cope with anxiety, depression, and overall difficult times.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. In my free time, you can find me spending time in nature, traveling, and experiencing new places and things.
